Designs for living offers a truly bespoke interior design service tailored to your needs, working with your ideas, budget and time frame to create an inspired and totally unique interior space that reflects the way you live and work and the essence of who you are.

Designs for Living was founded by Claire Betty, a Chelsea School of Design trained Interior Designer. Claire is passionate about art, design and architecture and has a great love of Italian Renaissance Art and antique furniture. Claire draws her inspiration from her European travels as she spent a considerable amount of time living and working in Paris, Barcelona and Trieste in Northern Italy.

Claire is an experienced, intuitive and gifted Interior Designer, who is able to visualise spaces, deliver inspirational interior schemes and maximise properties to their true potential whilst being sympathetic to their individual style and age.

Claire has extensive experience of working on grade I and II listed properties and understands the complexities these beautiful properties can bring. Claire has also worked on numerous conversions, extensions and renovation projects for residential and commercial clients and is able to guide clients through the process with clear vision and great attention to detail.

Claire has written interiors features for Bristol Property Live and Bristol Life and has appeared as a guest interiors expert on Channel 4s ‘The French Collection’ in September 2013. Claire has styled clients houses for interiors magazine photo shoots and has assisted with the creation of design schemes for a few local Bristol festivals.

Claire has also had her clinical interior design work showcased in the ‘Private Dentistry’ magazine and regularly consults with private dentistry and cosmetic surgery clinics in Harley Street, London.
